Couldn't let it be a whole year since posting to the blog...
Hi {!name},
I said a quite a while back that I would try to
post to the blog more often, well I've failed at
that haven't I? No excuse but there is a good
reason for it. I've been almost totally consumed
with my forum site.
Click on the banner in my signature and you'll
get there and see what I really LOVE doing.
Blogging is ok for some, but true social
networking is where it's at man.
A lot of work has gone into that site with very
little financial reward. I'm not complaining about
the financial side of things, that will come if I can
keep the bills paid to keep it alive and kicking.
Traffic-wise it does fairly well as this chart shows,
however, keep in mind that this chart covers the
entire www.rjventure.com domain, of which a big
part of the data is comprised of the social site activity.
As you can see, we're not far from hitting 1 million requests
per month. Not bad for an old Marine turned Hippy turned
Computer Geek eh?
This social networking site has many options for spending
your surfing time: games, news & information on a variety
of topics, auctions, & more. Spread the word to your friends.

I skate about 15 to 20 hours a week and also incorporate a lot of off-ice training. I take ballet and Pilates classes and lift weights with my physical therapist when I'm not on the ice.
